Launched on October 2, 2006, WAM Northern California seeks to advance WAM's mission in the San Francisco Bay Area, although we have members coming from Sacramento, Davis and Los Angeles. The mission of WAM Northern Califorinia is to advance the microfinance industry by supporting women in the industry in their professional development, promoting leadership opportunities, and increasing visibility of their participation and talent while maintaining a work/life balance.
