Welcome to WAM New York, a professional organization established to bring together women in the microfinance industry in the New York area to promote leadership opportunities, expand professional networks, and increase non-work related activities to achieve strong work/life balance.
About WAM New York
WAM New York was officially launched on April 27, 2005 with a cocktail reception sponsored by Shearman & Sterling in New York City. The event was attended by about 50 professional women working in Microfinance in New York, and was a tremendous success.
